President Stubb at the meeting of the European Political Community: In this time and age, we need discussion and cooperation more than ever


President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb attended a meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) in Woodstock, UK, on 18 July 2024. Around 50 heads of state and government from across Europe participated in the meeting.

The EPC aims to strengthen the security, stability and prosperity of the European continent. The topics discussed at the summit were Ukraine and the security of the whole Europe, information and hybrid influencing activities, energy and illegal immigration.

“In this time and age, we need discussion and cooperation more than ever. The meeting sends a strong message about the unity of the whole Europe,” President Stubb said at the meeting.

In connection with the summit, President Stubb had bilateral meetings with the presidents of Kosovo and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia.
