President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb met with Greg Fergus, Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada on Friday 8 March 2024 at the Presidential Palace.
The President and the Speaker discussed issues related to Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, NATO cooperation and bilateral relations between Finland and Canada.
Speaker Fergus and his delegation are on a visit to Finland at the invitation of Speaker Jussi Halla-aho on 7–10 March 2024.
