President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb met Helga Schmid, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki on Tuesday 7 May 2024.
During the meeting, the President and the Secretary General discussed issues such as Finland’s forthcoming OSCE Chairmanship in 2025, the OSCE’s role in supporting Ukraine and the organisation’s regional activities.
During the two-day visit, Secretary General Schmid also met Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen and visited the Finnish Parliament.
