President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz had a telephone conversation on Thursday 28 March 2024.
President Stubb and Federal Chancellor Scholz discussed the importance of continued and strong support to Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, topical NATO issues and bilateral relations between Finland and Germany.
President Stubb emphasised that Germany is an important friend and ally. The cooperation between Finland and Germany is strong and further strengthening across multiple sectors.
