On Wednesday 16 April 2025, President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb had a telephone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The President and the Prime Minister discussed bilateral relations, Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, as well as geopolitical shifts and their implications for the multilateral system.
On Wednesday, President Stubb also had a phone call with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. President Zelenskyy reported on the situation on the front. Ukraine has accepted the proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire.
