President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will attend a Nordic Summit on security and defence on Friday 31 May 2024 in Stockholm. The meeting will be hosted by Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.
In addition to President Stubb and Prime Minister Kristersson, the meeting will be attended by Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen and Prime Minister of Iceland Bjarni Benediktsson. The discussions will focus on current security issues, including Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, regional security and the upcoming NATO summit in Washington DC. At the end of the discussions, the Presidents will hold a joint press conference.
