Presidential couple receives traditional Christmas greetings


President of the Republic Alexander Stubb and his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb received the traditional Christmas greetings at the President’s official residence in Munkkiniemi on Wednesday 18 December 2024.

The first ones to bring their greetings to the presidential couple were the representatives of Folkhälsan and this year’s Lucia of Finland, Daniela Owusu, with her choir. After the choir performance, the presidential couple received the greetings from the Forestry Students’ Association and the Forestry Students’ Christmas Tree Company and Marttila Farm.

Christmas greetings were also brought by the Finnish Florists’ Association, Korpo Kulturgille, Vehmaa branch of the Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners, Finnish Hunters’ Association, Karelian Association, and the animal protection and nature conservation organisations Helsinki Humane Society HESY, the Finnish Nature Association and the Finnish Vegan Association. The presidential couple thanked all the people who brought their greetings and wished everyone a peaceful Christmas.
