President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb had a telephone conversation with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on Friday 4 April 2025.
The President and the Secretary-General discussed the challenges that the international rules-based system is facing, both in Europe and globally. The President emphasized Finland’s strong support for the UN and the Secretary-General. The UN and the multilateral system are key pillars of Finland’s foreign and security policy.
