President Halonen's portrait

President Halonen´s portrait. Photo copyright © The Prime Minister’s Office A portrait of President of the Republic Tarja Halonen by Rafael Wardi was unveiled in the Government Palace in Helsinki on 8 November, 2002. It was commissioned by the Government.

The portrait has been hung on the end wall of the room where the President and the Government assemble in session. The room and its antechamber contain portraits of all of the presidents of Finland.
