President Halonen to make official visit to Romania

President of the Republic of Finland Tarja Halonen and Dr Pentti Arajärvi will make an official visit to Romania from 8 to 9 June 2008.

In Bucharest President Halonen will meet President Traian Basescu and Prime Minister Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, among others. A round table discussion on "Roma Communities in Europe" will be arranged during the visit. Minister of Migration and European Affairs Astrid Thors will accompany President Halonen.
