President Halonen travelling to Oslo

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will travel to Norway on 8 March 2006 to attend a meeting at the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights.

The Oslo Center was established by Kjell-Magne Bondevik, the former prime minister of Norway. Its goal is to promote peace and human rights around the world. President Halonen is on the Center's board.

President Halonen will also meet Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg of Norway while she is in Oslo.
