President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met with U.S. Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro on Thursday 24 August 2023 at Mäntyniemi in Helsinki.
President Niinistö and Secretary of the Navy Del Toro discussed global issues and bilateral cooperation, especially in the naval sector.
The visit to Finland of the U.S. Secretary of the Navy was hosted by the Ministry of Defence. President Niinistö last met with Secretary of the Navy Del Toro during his visit to the United States on 10 March 2023.
