President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met with Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Tod D. Wolters today at Kultaranta.
Topics such as European security, Finland’s partnership with NATO and EU-NATO-cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
During the visit, General Wolters will meet also Prime Minister Antti Rinne and Minister of Defence Antti Kaikkonen, and familiarize himself with Finland’s military defence. The visit is hosted by the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Timo Kivinen.
