A book of condolence for President Mauno Koivisto will be opened at the Presidential Palace at 10am on Tuesday 16 May 2017. Members of the public and organisations can present their condolences in the book until Friday 19 May. President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will be the first to sign the book.
The book of condolence will be open in the lobby on the Mariankatu side of the Presidential Palace as follows: from 10am to 3pm on Tuesday 16 May, from 10am to 3pm on Wednesday 17 May, from 10am to 6pm on Thursday 18 May and from 10am to 3pm on Friday 19 May. The address is Mariankatu 2 (glass doors).
Condolences can also be presented online at https://koivisto.presidentti.fi/. The web page will be opened on Tuesday and closed on Friday at the same time as the book.
The book of condolence will later be handed to President Koivisto’s family.
