President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö will meet President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday 16 June. The presidents will discuss the Ukrainian crisis, bilateral relations between Finland and Russia and relations between the EU and Russia.
Earlier this week, President Niinistö discussed the Ukraine crisis with the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, by telephone and with Nursultan Nazarbajevi, the President of Kazakhstan, and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon in person in Astana.
