President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö offers his condolences following the killing of two Finnish aid workers in Herat, Afghanistan. “The brutal fate of these Finnish women touches us all. The atrocity was particularly shocking as they were in Afghanistan to help the local people. I would like to express my deepest condolences to their families and loved ones.”
President Niinistö calls on the Afghan authorities to do everything in their power to apprehend the perpetrators. “The killer or killers must be brought to justice. I demand that the Afghan authorities use every means at their disposal to capture the offenders
